REACH - OUT

The Reach-Out Programme is an annual MAARDEC event where mobility aids and appliances such as wheelchairs, crutches, guide canes, tricycles, leg braces, etc. are distributed to indigent persons with disabilities free of charge. In the past, soft loans were also given to persons with disabilities to support or start small businesses.
The Reach-out programme started in 1994.

Beneficiaries from Reach-Out

Persons with various forms of disabilities who cannot afford the price of needed mobility aid and appliances and those who are qualified for such through interviews and screening from our doctors and physiotherapists.
Beneficiaries are selected through interviews and one-on-one screening/assessment activities put up by MAARDEC
